Unique wire crimping technology
HUMMEL’s wire crimping technology creates a solder-free, mechanically stable connection between the wire and the contact.
By crimping the wire 360° around, it forms a homogeneous, vibration-resistant connection with low contact resistance.
The result: consistent performance and long service life, even under high mating cycles in demanding industrial environments.
TWILOCK – fast, safe and reliable locking
The TWILOCK system is HUMMEL’s proprietary bayonet locking mechanism for M16 and M23 connectors.
Instead of a traditional screw connection, it uses a click-and-turn twist-lock that securely fastens the connector in just a quarter turn.
The system provides full EMC protection, is vibration-resistant, and guarantees an IP67/IP69K protection rating – making it ideal for industrial automation and drive technology.
The main advantage: up to 75% faster installation and a durable, vibration-proof connection that ensures maximum operational reliability.
HUMMEL INOX and moulded connectors
In addition to the standard product range, HUMMEL also offers special versions such as stainless-steel connectors and overmoulded connectors. These solutions meet the specific requirements of demanding industries (e.g. food processing) or provide customers with a ready-to-use connector and cable assembly — without any tooling costs.
Stainless-steel connectors are available in M16 and M23 sizes.

The new M16 angle connector from HUMMEL proves that high performance does not require a lot of space. As the world's smallest M16 angle connector with a height of only 22 mm, it delivers maximum power in a minimum of space – setting new standards in drive and automation technology.
Despite its compact form, it delivers performance values on M23 level, impresses with combined power and signal transmission, and is particularly flexible thanks to its 315° positioning capability. The M23 circular connectors are available with the classic screw locking, the TWILOCK quick-release mechanism, and the TWILOCK-S version, which is fully compatible with the Speedtec locking system.
All versions are UL, CSA and VDE approved, meeting the highest standards of quality, reliability and safety for demanding industrial environments.
HUMMEL M40 connectors

HUMMEL M40 connectors are designed for applications that demand high power, maximum reliability, and a robust mechanical design. With their larger form factor and solid metal housing, they easily accommodate cables with larger cross-sections and high current loads. This makes the M40 series an excellent choice for drive technology, motors, industrial machinery, pumping systems, and other demanding industrial environments.
The connectors also offer IP67/IP69K protection and outstanding EMC performance.
Compatible with Speedtec – TWILOCK-S quick lock
In addition to the conventional screw-lock version, the M40 series is also available with TWILOCK-S, HUMMEL’s quick-lock system that is fully 1-to-1 compatible with the Speedtec locking mechanism (Igus and Intercontec). With just a short twist, the connector locks securely into place. Like TWILOCK, TWILOCK-S provides:
