Unique soft-switching technology

Unique soft-switching technology

Switch-mode power supplies can introduce disturbances due to the non-linear nature of voltage and current waveforms, mainly in the form of ripple and noise. For highly critical and sensitive applications, linear power supplies have therefore traditionally been the preferred choice.

With its unique soft-switching technology, Daitron combines the advantages of switch-mode power supplies — such as compact design, low weight and high efficiency — with exceptionally low noise characteristics, resulting in:

  • Extremely low output ripple
  • Very low EMI emissions, both conducted and radiated
  • Low leakage currents

Up to 90% noise reduction

Daitron has succeeded in reducing the noise level to less than 10% compared to standard power supplies. EMI emissions remain well below the EN 55022 Class B limits, significantly simplifying system integration and compliance testing.

Daitron low-noise power supplies are ideally suited for applications such as:

  • Sensitive measurement and control instruments
  • Electron microscopes
  • Medical imaging and diagnostic equipment
  • Audio and video applications
