For this customer, we set out to find a robust and future-proof power solution for the latest generation of compact sweepers.
Challenge: From 24V Vehicle Power to a Stable 12V Cabin Supply
Our customer develops compact sweepers for municipal and industrial cleaning applications. While the vehicle platform is based on a 24 VDC electrical system, many electronic devices within the cabin operate on a 12 VDC power supply.
The challenge was to identify a solution that not only delivers efficient voltage conversion but is also capable of withstanding the demanding conditions in which sweepers operate every day. Vibrations, temperature fluctuations, and electrical disturbances require a power supply system that offers exceptional reliability and operational availability.
Solution: Delta B62SR12424D DC/DC Converter
In collaboration with Delta Electronics, A&C Solutions selected the Delta B62SR12424D DC/DC converter as the secondary power source for the cabin electronics.
This industrial-grade converter efficiently converts the 24 VDC battery voltage into a precisely regulated 12.4 VDC output. In addition, its galvanic isolation between input and output protects sensitive electronic subsystems against voltage fluctuations and disturbances originating from the primary vehicle power network.
The result is a stable, low-noise power supply that is essential for the reliable operation of modern cabin electronics.
