The challenge
Ecovelo develops robust e-bike charging stations that must operate reliably 24/7 in public environments. The power supply is the heart of every charging station and must continuously deliver high power without compromising on reliability or efficiency.
In addition, the selected power supply had to withstand varying load conditions, elevated ambient temperatures and continuous operation over extended periods. Long service life and maximum system uptime were essential requirements.
The solution
A&C Solutions selected the Delta Electronics MEB-1K5A24T AAA, a 1500 W industrial AC/DC power supply specifically designed for applications where high power density and maximum reliability are critical.
With an output voltage of 24 VDC and a maximum output power of 1500 W, the power supply provides more than enough capacity to simultaneously power multiple charging circuits and the complete control electronics of the charging station.
