The challenge
A stairlift must operate safely and reliably, day after day. The control electronics, sensors, communication interfaces and other auxiliary systems all depend on a stable and continuous power supply. Even under varying loads or demanding operating conditions, the power supply must deliver uncompromising performance, safety and reliability.
Our customer was therefore looking for a compact, energy-efficient and maintenance-free power supply that could be easily integrated into the control cabinet while providing years of reliable operation.
The solution
A&C Solutions recommended Delta DIN rail power supplies as the standard power platform for the customer's control cabinets. Depending on the required power level, either the Delta Lyte II Series or the Delta DRF Series is selected, ensuring every stairlift is equipped with a power supply that perfectly matches the application's requirements.
Thanks to their compact DIN rail design, both series can be easily integrated into the control cabinet. Their high efficiency minimizes energy losses and heat generation, while robust industrial-grade components ensure a long service life. In addition, the power supplies feature comprehensive protection against short circuits, overloads and overvoltage, ensuring maximum system availability and operational reliability.

Delta Lyte II Series
The Lyte II Series is designed for standard control applications where an excellent price-performance ratio is essential. The power supplies feature a wide input voltage range of 85–264 VAC, deliver efficiencies of up to 92%, and provide full output power at ambient temperatures up to 50°C. Natural convection cooling eliminates the need for a fan, increasing reliability while reducing maintenance requirements.
Delta DRF Series
For applications requiring higher power or operating in more demanding environments, the DRF Series offers enhanced performance and maximum reliability. With efficiencies of up to 95%, high peak current capability, excellent EMC performance and premium industrial-grade components, these power supplies are designed for continuous operation in demanding industrial environments.
