The new ILME AXYR® inserts offer a very compact spring clamp connection.This connection is comparable to high-density crimp connectors, but with the ILME AXYR® inserts, no special crimping tool is required, while still maintaining excellent electrical performance.
Quick & easy connection in the field
The ILME AXYR® inserts are especially useful when connectors need to be wired on-site. The installer doesn’t need any special tools. The operating levers allow for a simple and quick connection and are suitable for all wire types, both solid and stranded (with or without ferrules). The spring clamp connection is also resistant to mechanical stress and vibrations. And perhaps most importantly: an incorrect connection is easy and quick to fix.
